Farms, Friends & Family | PORTUGAL FARM LIFE S4-E07 ✈❤

Gina is going back to visit her family in the UK, but first she needs to jump through all of the hoops of the travel restrictions, Covid tests etc. Our friends Theo & Bee from The Indie Project have just tested positive for Covid! We head over to theirs to drop off a care package and make sure they are alright. Back on our farm we discover a bunch of pine processionary caterpillars which are very dangerous for pets so we dispose of them in the best way we can.

We hope you enjoy the episode. Thanks for watching. See you all again next week ❤

We are Ken & Gina and we left the UK in 2019 in search of a simpler life away from our office jobs and the hustle and bustle of the big city. We sold our house, left the UK and left the Rat race behind us to move to Portugal and buy a farm. We found an amazing farm in Castelo Branco Central Portugal where we have lived for the last two and a half years.

  1. Eww gross. What can be done with all the cotton candy nests?? Happy to hear you are taking care of Bee and Theo. I hope Gina had a good visit with her family. 4 days seems so short.
    Hugs from 🇨🇦

  2. It gets so confusing dealing with YouTube "time". I see Theo limping out for the care package on your vid and then on the dame day catch him in the snow in Iceland on his. Oh, the "magic".

  3. It is a house sparrow. We have the same fellows every Spring in California making a racket outside our window trying to attract the females to check out their bachelor pad situated in the tiles of the roof of the building next to ours. The males have black markings on their chests. Been watching them for years. I am always happy to see them. Best when you see the chicks leave the nest.

  4. I understand your concern with your animals. But why did you have to kill the caterpillars? I'm all for safety, but I wasn't happy that they were taken from their own habitat and killed. Yes it's just a worm, I get that, but still.

  5. Oh God Gina 😱 my nose was burning again, just to see you being tested. Here in Tenerife I pushed the nurse away the first time (several times actually) and in Portugal I broke the thing were you put your arms on the chair (sorry I forgot the name of it) 🙈😅🙈 Ken says he is going to party with beer and steaks, but I'm sure he is going to miss you 😉 those catapilars are a pain…

  6. Damn it I tested positive last night, the only thing I have is sore throat, my wife had it for a few days but in my case I was helping my brother-in-law early in the morning and I wasn’t dressed for the occasion and was really cold, got sore throat and when I got home took me several hours to get warm again. Doing the PCR test today to make sure. Can you use a torch and burn the caterpillars?

  7. Please stop sticking Antifreeze up your noses unless you have taken in what antifreeze actually is registered as and what it does to the body being a carcinogen and you don;t mind, that should then be clear why it hurts in the second nostril and why they want it to damage the blood brain barrier during a genocide , please know your enemy is your government , these things are all by consent only ❤🌟

  8. put on a face shield or goggles and mask when handling the caterpillars, their hairs are pretty bad for human eyes and throat, specially if its breazy or windy, they could get you even when they are afr from you. at least that what tehy said here in the netherlands
