Being on my own I know how it can get overwhelming.

  8. Cindi I have been keeping an eye on one specific piglet the runt of the litter the whitest of them all, and he doesnt seem to be doing so well. Maybe one of these nice girls can give him a little more to eat. On another subject A friend of mine once caught a plane ride on an animal cargo plane, taking care of the polo ponies being shipped to Argentina from the UK, Maybe South Africa does business with Spain or Portugal and you can hick a ride with them? just a thought. Hang in there dont give up a solution shall be found !!!!!

  9. So relieved that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Since you first posted about being turned away from entry to the country in which you live, I have been remembering a similar experience. The stress of feeling powerless whilst staying calm and collected is not to be believed. Your surreal overnight sojourn at the airport was very scary, but you were very cool, even when things deteriorated later. You have set an example for the large number of women who might be going through similar experiences. I was truly shocked at the gruelling disappointments, unyielding uncertainty, and outright misguidance you have had to bear. I won't jinx your progress forward but I open my heart to you and hope you will be leaving this predicament soon. If ever you leave Portugal again and come to the UK, please come stay! But, one step at a time to get back to your beloved home, where you are loved by people you know and all of us across the globe who are holding you in our hearts. Take care, Cindy, and come home soon. Xxxx

  10. Cindy, you have been in my prayers to get your paperwork in order fast so you can go home. Much love thank you for sharing your life and animals.

  11. Dear Cindy. So sorry to hear of your troubles😱but don't worry, it will resolve. You did well in reaching out to the local 🇵🇹 community. They will help but press the issue so Consulate expedites it ASAP. Next time to Africa, pls fly TP. They are far from perfect, but I believe yr experiences wud hv been different with them. The piglets are a delight, and KUDOS to Julian and wonderful neighbors for keeping the farm afloat. Head up Cindy, this too shall pass. 🙏😘🌹❤️🇵🇹❤️
