Finally let the Portugal tour begin! I am off on another motorcycle tour to Portugal, after touring the Pyrenees and French Alps last summer, I have the itch to go on another adventure.
Motorcycle touring is my favourite thing to do and this is my first tour of 2022. I get the ferry from Portsmouth to Santander, and then ride through northern Spain and in to Portugal. My destination is the Douro Valley and the N222, which has been voted the best road in the world.
Just me and my Triumph Speedmaster off on another tour. I explore Portugal on my motorcycle.

Btw when I've looked to book with Spit-in-me Berries from Portsmouth to Santander/Bilbao on my own with my bike it has been extortionately expensive. The only way I could make it even half affordable is to share costs of a cabin with a riding buddy.

Hello. I'm a portuguese from Porto, riding a Royal Enfield Classic 500. At Vila Nova de Foz Côa you have a modern museum about pre historic rock paintings from Côa river . It's worth to see it. If you are following the Douro river, and EN (Estrada National) 222, direction to Porto, I can give any info you need, from routes to railways trips along river Douro Porto/Pocinho or anything concerning your interest. How many days will you be travelling in Portugal? Or is it only north Portugal?
