  1. Hello, Nick. I have missed your vlogs.
You were alone because Sarah was in England and your neighbours were gone too, what makes me wonder where your sister is. Has she gone back to England? Is she still living in Portugal but in a place that is a long distance from yours?
Anyway, you have your lovely dogs and I am very pleased that you treat them so well. You say the older people are not so gentle with their animals. I do not agrre with that. I am 73 years old and I have always been kind to them. I have rescued several dogs. I could write a book on the subject. So age is not the issue. I think it has to do with their mean nature.
Now on the subject of helping you with the veterinary bills if you give me your email I will contact you in order to find a way to do that. Love Filipa

  2. Aww, what a story! Lovely to hear all girls, 2-legged and 4-legged, are now back in your home. Hopefully you are recovered as well. Congrats on 20K subs. With love from a snowy Sweden 💙💛, Katarina

  3. Sometimes life becomes very difficult for no apparent reason, we see no solution, and wonder why ? But we survive, we overcome and we grow stronger from the experience, you obviously have reflected on your experience, and you have overcome, life can be so complicated sometimes, and still we wonder why !

  4. Hi Nick, I just watched this and there is info about a dog tracker collar that might be of interest to you. By the way, I know what you mean about the rain – it’s pissing down here and looks like it will be all friggin week and you know what rainy England is like 👎🏻 ah well, it will make us all appreciate the spring and summer all the more. Have a good day (hopefully) 🌞

  7. Nick, I'm so sorry you've been struggling. It may not seem like it, but there's an entire invisible community who cares about you and your family. I'm glad Foffy is ok (what a rascal!). Thank you for sharing with us so honestly and openly. Hugs from Missouri, US.

  8. Nick twice I’ve typed about my spiral down in the pits of a dark dark place and both times I couldn’t press the sent button. I think I’d put too much info and to graphic but just know this I’m only at the other end of a message from you and you’re more than welcome to fire me off a message or even a few hundred you have no reason to try and go alone and don’t go where I went. On the bright side you have Sarah back with you and 2 very lucky dogs who just love to get their daily rubs and tickles of you then you also have 2,0000 pairs of eyes watching you and Sarah and feel the need to join you in your lives in sunny Portugal. Please give Foffy a big old rub and love from me oh and you can if you will give All them pesky felines a rub and a cuddle from me.
Remember that I’m only a message away keep up your vlogs and the house tours. Always here, Martin.

  9. That some week you've had Nick….Congrats on 20k Subs mate!!….There's a saying "Know your breed" when it comes to getting/adopting etc etc a dog..Not often done then people struggle with what is totally natural behaviour i.e hunting,Guarding, retrieving to certain breeds..Commonly these are surpressed or to some degree certain training aims to at least make them manageable,But the dog will always have that need, drive to do what's in its blood.
I dunno if you have some Tennis courts or a secure/fenced area near you perhaps??With the weather not so great and the public not using them these are great secure area's normally that you can use to give Dogs some off lead time whilst giving you peace of mind they can't run off and give you another 3 days of worry 🙂 Take it easy mate and hopefully Sarah is just the medicine needed to lift those annoying dark clouds our mental health sends our way sometimes.

  10. Sorry it's been a rough few weeks Nick. Congrats on the 20K, that's super exciting! and congrats and kudos for saving Leah. Knowing you have two more dogs in the UK makes this even tougher doesn't it. Seasonal depression sucks, especially when you find yourself alone, but thank goodness for the animal babies to keep us afloat until it passes 🙂 Big hugs to you and Sarah. 💖💖

  11. I really do hope you keep Leila, she is beautiful and Foffy loves having her back. How much would it take to secure keeping Leia? If we new the $ target we could help raise it, pleassssssseeeee😊❤

  12. Oh that made me cry my eyes out😢 glad all is safe and well and I hope you can get everything sorted I was in Bristol the other day getting my new windscreen but I had a bit of a panic attack trying to drive through Bristol so I was going to pop and see your sister-in-law‘s shop but unfortunately this happened so I had to make my way back home I passed my driving test in London would you believe it and now I’m getting anxiety attacks not good anyway not been too brilliant I may need to go into could have a blocked artery somewhere anyway enough of mobile phone take care stay safe and look forward to seeing more of your videos soon Congratulations on getting 20,000😊

  13. Sarah will be back with you by now ,I hope that makes you feel a bit better, You certainly deserve something nice to happen to you. I think all your followers will be saying thank you for looking after all the animals.. Take care

  14. The good life in Portugal can be tough during the rainy, colder months but like you, comfort and strength can be found in caring for your furry mates and the kindness of people. I wouldn’t have lasted 33 years here otherwise. Take care of yourself, Nick.

  15. Glad to see yr feeling much better both physically and emotionally and that Foffy is home and Lea will soon be with a good home (if u can bear to part with her). With your soul mate on her way too you will be in 7th heaven. Keep your chin up. Your voice keeps many folks cheered up just by itself!
