I wanted to change things up a bit and take you on a tour of nearby towns that are within a 30 minute drive to Caldas da Rainha. I will be exploring small villages to beach towns. Today’s video, I will be showing you around Foz do Arelho which is about 10 minutes west of Caldas da Rainha.

Foz do Arelho is known for their magnificent beach and connecting lagoon of Obidos. Foz do Arelho is ideal for families, retirees and singles. This beach town is active all year long with a mix of Portuguese and permanent residents. Inside Foz, you can find a couple of small grocery stores, a few restaurants, pharmacy, post office, pre-school, an elementary school and so much more.
