  1. QSR stands for Quick Service Restaurant, This magazine has been doing this study for many years. One of the reasons for Chick-fil-A having the longest drive-through time, is because most of their locations have multiple lines, and they also have far more business than most of the restaurants. Having spent 45 years in the fast food business, Chick-fil-A has the drive-through business completely figured out. The one that saddens me is Wendy’s, I spent about 20 years at Wendy’s are there drive-through’s speed of service is poor.

  2. I’m a nurse and do 3, 12s regularly..where 36hrs is full time with benefits..While my work is hard (ridiculous most times) you couldn’t pay me to go back to being anywhere 5 days a week! Much easier to plan Drs appts, vacations etc., or pick up extra work when I need it!

  3. Where I live the government cracked down on Chick-fil-A blocking traffic to the point that the restaurant moved to a brand new location walking distance down the road. I asked the staff and their pay rate is the same as other fast food restaurants in the area.

  4. We, and by that I mean us parents, have got to impress on our children that Social Security, by itself, is not going to be enough to live on ….if it is even survives long enough to be around when they hit the old age of retirement. I like the way Christa put it to her kids when she told them that "this will make you rich" . I think when we speak about "retirement" most young , people under 35 or 40, think that they have a lot of time left before that becomes important. Becoming "rich" = sooner and retirement= later.

  5. First 18 months of pandemic in my city had a 45 minute wait in Chick Fila for drive thru. Fixed the problem by building another one a mile up the road. Mickey D's near me finally opened up the walk in & dining area. Several times go had to wait 10 minutes for just 1 breakfast item. If I was young would live the 3 days on 4 days off especially in the summer.

  6. Dishwashers on average use less water than washing by hand. Modern dishwashers are very efficient with water usage, and they are also a lot more sanitary. Simple solution stop using the pods and use liquid detergent or powder which is better, because one of the most important steps of a dishwasher is the pre wash which pods cannot offer.

  7. My experiences of ChikFilA in my area of Virginia have been the best and among the fastest. If there is a wait, it is only because there are so many more people in the drive-thru line, compared to other restaurants. Even then, they do a fantastic job of getting people through quickly. My husband and I believe that the ChikFilA engineers ought to rule the world because they are so efficient. And the workers are so polite!

  8. Car manufacturers take advantage of those of us in the US. There are cars we have here with a standard 36 month 36,000 mi bumper to bumper warranty. Yet the exact same vehicle in other countries will carry warranties of 50,000 mi and 5 years. The exact same car. So being in the United States, are business manufacturers take advantage of us compare to how they do for the same product so in other countries.

  9. Fast food restaurants are fast at the drive thru but the slowest at cleaning the bathrooms. Gaslighting was the most looked up word on dictionary this year. This is what employers use on employees to get rid of them. Makes the employee go crazy.

  10. Chick-fil-a near my house blocks up the parking lot by hogging up the road. It makes me so mad and I wish they weren't allowed to do it. CFA is also bigot chicken, so they can pound sand.
