Let me give you the correct answer why they don't adopt ECO currency. All these politicians stole a lot of money and most of these money are not put in the banks because is stolen money they could be caught easily. The change of currency will automatically affect their stolen money, the stolen money will no longer be valid for use.
One of the Africa president change his country currency in other to remove and condemn the stolen money. So, all the politicians that stole money then lost everything because the change of currency makes their stolen no longer acceptable as a legal tender. On these ground some leaders in some countries won't let ECO currency see the light of the day. They will continue to beat around. They know the answer, the reason but, they will indirectly discourage change of currency.
