Are you sure they will drop the Golden Visa for everyone? My impression is that Greece "just" wanted to "temporarily suspend" it for Russians only.
I have 2 homes on my property & I’ve never thought of renting the other out – it’s not worth the hassle or BS & rentals here are absolutely insane at the moment – My peace of mind is worth more than $1000 a month – to get out of a rental –
Europe in general is pretty well finished as a desirable destination. The EU is determined to destroy the previously desirable parts of the southern tier. When Russian gas stops these economies are really going to hit hard. I maintain that Mexico is still a desirable option but this might change as more and more Americans and Canadians migrate there.
I would move fast for anyone thinking of trying to obtain a second residency or citizenship anywhere, things are morphing fast and many opportunities are evaporating fast post covid. Im looking at carribean citizenship just to have a backup passport in case western nations go full tyrannical again in the future.

Similar story with tenants in Greece, but I threatened to kick them out then they start paying , even the months they missed lol.
I think it may help lower some of the inflated home prices in Greece – a lot of it was bumped up to grab what they could from the golden bids people – cheers
