So sorry about Bert and Eddie. I hope Eddie got a really good home. It was obvious why he stuck to you like glue. It doesn't sound like he ever had a good home until you came into his life. It was important to find him a forever lovely home. I hope that happened. So glad your medical procedure went so well. Life is good. 😊

Not an easy video to make I’m sure Andrew. I really feel for you and Wil. Bert was a beautiful dog and such an unexpected loss much have been a shock for you. The loss of our dogs can be as powerful as losing a human. I wish you the best. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Oh Andy… so sorry to hear about Burt. I knew in the first 10 seconds of your video that something had happened to Burt. We want you to know we had the exact same thing happen to us with our first pup… so we know the pain:( Now its our our turn to give you encouragement, and tell you to stay positive during your time of grief. This was a negative and also a positive episode Andy. I was happy for you to hear the operation went well as also the healing of youre hand.I was sorry for the loss. I've bin there several times. You've made such a beautiful memories with Bert, keep them alive.
The walk after the hospital visit was really beautiful and I saw Will and you both were enjoying it.

That was a lovely eulogy Andrew. I’m so sorry for your loss – I dread that sad day that comes to everyone who loves a pet.
Your observation that your dogs were not a replacement for anything, but rather a valuable addition to your life, was very poignant for me and defined my experience as well.
Dogs mourn the same way that people do, I’m so glad that you and Will can help each other through the loss of your friend.

So sorry about your beloved pet/ friend..I had 2 American Cocker Spaniels for almost 16 years….I miss them so much because they were the love of my life…
I live in a motorhome now after selling my huge home….I’ll wait until the prices of houses returns to normal…I have more freedom now and so I plan to boat and cycle from Amsterdam to Bruges with 10 of my children and grandchildren in July…Please God the weather will be warm and sunny for us…
