Oh boy; does that bring back memories. We have camped there in the past with a huge fifth wheel (40') towed by a custom built International Toter we bought principally to winter in the U.S. southwest. We subsequently, after spending 6 winters in Arizona, ended up buying a home in Florida and now, after 11 winters in Lakeland Fla. are selling that to perhaps spend some winter time in Portugal. It looks like we did it in the reverse to your experience so far. Cannot begin to tell you how interesting we're finding your youtubes.
Hello Tina & Norm, enjoying every video that I watched from your channel. My wife and I are thinking if we can buy and use the trailer to stay in Canada for summer time, to be at least 6 months as required then travelling outside the country for the rest of the year. We were thinking to follow your retirement lifestyle but instead of renting an apartment, we will just travel and come back to Canada and stay for 6 months in the trailer, just to save a bit of money. Probably will do it for 5 yrs. or until we reached our "slow go" What do you think? Wishing you of more years of happy retirement. God bless.
It’s Friday night. Just making sure Nooohm is working on tomorrow’s video.
Hi, We have been watching you for a while, and have watched most of your videos now. We moved from the UK, to Saskatchewan, Canada, 17 years ago. We are both in our 60`s, so we enjoy and listen to what you talk about. We are looking at different options for our future, we have our own house. So we do we sell move somewhere like Southern Ontario, better climate, closer to fly back to the UK, easy access to the USA, for cheap flights etc. And either rent a condo, or just stay in Saskatchewan and either rent or buy a condo here. Our goal, is to retire and travel more, once things settle down. We have no children, and what family we have all live back in the UK. We have a travel trailer too, but we like to travel and visit different places. Keep making the great videos, take care and enjoy a beer later. Steve
Do you ever take your trailer out in a drive ?
How many months of a year COULD you live in the trailer? Theoretically, could you live there in the warmer months and stay in Portugal for the rest of the year over winter?
Your RV site looks awesome…very modern and well laid out … fire pit is a nice bonus too. I would like to try out that lifestyle so wondering if such accommodations are available on a rental basis…would you happen to know? Keep biking Norm its great fun🚴♂️ Thanks for the interesting content…I'm sure its a lot of work keeping the videos going every week! Take care. 🇨🇦❤🇺🇦
These are wonderful tips that most people would not think of, thank you. I know where you guys are! I have been to Kincardine, very nice area. Kim from Niagara Falls.
Many trailer couples can’t afford a resort style “campsite”! I think you’re a bit spoiled!
Thanks for sharing Nice Video Your All Videos Are Superbbb
Here another idea! Sell your trailer and move out of your apartment. You will save a lot more money! Then get your self a nice Winnebago view class C motor home and be on the road full time doing YouTube. You can come back to that campground in the summer.
Another winning video guys. Really enjoyed this one too. Am considering getting something similar here too but the pull towards France is very strong! Have a wonderful week and keep these videos coming Tina and Norm. 🤗
Great info, as always. Tina, love the shirt. Looks lovely on you.
I'd rather have a static trailer/caravan than a 'cottage' – reason is because you don't feel as though you're on holiday if you're staying in a property where your neighbours are going about their regular everyday life. On a holiday park its totally different – you're in holiday mode as soon as you arrive because everyone around you is feeling the same. Its the annual charges that floor many people thinking of buying.
Hello Tina and Norm, your trailer and park look beautiful. Having a trailer can be a lot of fun. We have had three, one park model and two for traveling around. We are thinking someday will go for another park model. Like you say, it's like having a little cottage. Hope you had a great weekend, take care.
You guys are so sweet! We love our class-c rv, nothing beats sleeping in your own bed.
Only two types. LOL Just back from a perfect site, well for us.
Great video and thankyou. You have made a great decision that works for you and family. Tina love the coral top I have a summer dress same colour and makes me feel alive when I wear it.
Having a Trailer is like having ;
A change Is as good as a rest .
Wow your video is really crisp & colors bright – maybe it's Tina's shirt?! Wonderful tips – thanks for sharing. We have a 37 ft fifth wheel, but I'm hoping we downsize soon as I feel it's going to be a bit big for us as we near retirement. Love your videos!
Hi Tina and Norm, we do a lot of camping, and wondered how comfortable you feel about having other trailers so close to your trailer. If you were outside your trailer, do you mind the lack of privacy?
good info about campsites and trailers its not a lot different here in Oz nice can have family nearby for you our son and daughter live on opposite sides of Australia nice now maybe but as we get older could prove difficult for visits as it was in lockdown here
*fully watchedAu👍A big thumbs up👍*
Love your travel trailer & the set up you certainly picked a lovely looking site 👍
Happy weekend Tina & Norm 🏴🍷🍺🇨🇦
Love the trailer. Indeed choosing a park to fit one's needs is paramount. The advantage with a removable trailer is exactly that. It can be moved to another park should one wish to 'goo elsewhere'. A holiday cottage is in that sense, more restrictive. WE too have these holiday 'villages' and here too the rule is that there are no permanent living conditions- recreational occupation only. I wish you both a wonderful season with and without the family. Long may the sun shine. 🤩 😎 🇳🇱 🙋♀️ 🇳🇿 🍷 🍻
I think it sounds idyllic, definetly something we would like to do one day. Right now, with the world being the way it is, anything that relaxes is a good thing! Typical hubby noticing a new top, but "u have had it for ages Tina!' DXX
You are the best
Hi Tina & Norm, I've check out the website and the campsite looks so inviting as it has so much to offer. In the early 1980"s we had a trailer at the Mini Lakes in Guelph, it was ok but not as nice as your place. I think what really makes a campsite fun it's not what it offers but having a couple that love each other and enjoys spending time together that makes it so much fun, Cheers!😀😀
Love this and wish we could do it too. Traveling with you in my armchair. Thank you.
GREAT looking park! There is a need for more campsites! They are being lost to developers around here (WESTCOAST) CHEERS
I learned a lot about trailers and campgrounds from this video…I had no idea that some campgrounds wouldn't allow older trailers. Good to know! You definately have a beautiful spot to spend summers. Thank you for sharing ☺
Nice to know you can share your site with the grands..double bonus. 🤩🤩
Great information today's!!!
Love the cottage/ trailer life!!
I love that area. I often rent a cottage in Pt. Clark. Kincardine is fun to visit. I hope Bluewater theatre starts up again this summer. You'd enjoy their shows which are cabaret style. My late husband and I used to go to their matinees every summer.
Thanks for showing and sharing. I never knew they were so nice inside. Great option for us who will not be able to get a cabin.
Tina & Norm, you guys are so much in-sync with eachother so to speak, that I think, is the key to enjoy retirement. At the end of the day it's not the money, I know money helps, but contentment and companionship are crucial. Enjoy watching you both immensely! All the very best for many, many more years of love and friendship.
L❤️VE your camper trailer!!!
How do you prepare it for the harsh winters? Do you have a cover? What about mice chewing their way in?
You have a great camera/lighting, amazing level of clarity at this end. Nice T shirt Tina you must glow for n the dark with that on. Cheers
It never really entered my mind to have a vacation home – this sounds like a splendidly economical option
I learn something new every single video. You chose really well with the campsite and the actual camper. 👌🏾 👏🏽 (so beautiful) Thank you guys for sharing. Cheers!🍷🍺
This is a lovely situation for you and the trailer looks wonderful! I hope you will make some videos while you are there this summer. Enjoy!
Great tips on buying a trailer. Wife’s ready and I think I am also when we sell the house. Its important to have green space and a different environment when moving from a house to an apartment. You came up with a great solution. Hopefully the demand in the future for trailers will not be too crazy. I expect there is always some turnover in trailer parks. We look forward to touring some trailer parks and different towns to call home. Hopefully we can all travel again soon. I booked two trips south spring and fall and each one cost at least a thousand more than normal. Thanks Norm and Tina! We look forward to your videos every Saturday. Cheers.
