Harvesting Peanuts in Portugal? // A Week of Catching up in the Garden

We are Zak and Jackie and together with our child and our old dog Caat we live in the mountains of Central Portugal. After a workaway stay on an off-grid finca in Spain in 2017 we decided that this was the life we wanted to build for ourselves. In 2019 we found ourselves buying 2 hectares of abandoned land and a house and we finally made the move in 2022. Follow us on our journey of rehabilitating former Eucalyptus plantation land, building a house and a life in a new country.
