What do you think of the case of Madeleine McCann? Are they closer to finally solving this mystery?

One more thing , Kate or Gerry, claim that they were worried about Madeleine and her siblings being drugged by the kidnapper, still they did nothing to test the twins with regards to that. They didn't even try to wake them to see if they were healthy. When they came under suspicion they were willing to co-operate, but then, it was several weeks after, it was too late to detect any suspicious substances in hair samples from their children.

Wait a minute. There was no innocent local guy carrying a child at that time, but a British doctor named Julian Totman, who came forward six years after Madeleine had gone missing. As for the sighting of him or possibly a quite different person, by the witness Jane Tanner, her description of Mr Totman or another unknown person does not fit into the description of the man that appeared 45 minutes later in another place of PDL.That other man was thoroughly described by an Irish family, one of whom (Martin Smith)believed that he had seen Gerry McCann. Ref the Smith's sighting, very crucial for the understanding of the case.

I think we all have the same thought.. why are we leaving any kids alone? of any age, any place, any time? I have two children and let me tell you- toddlers can not be left alone for a single second, otherwise the house is on fire, there are monkeys and someone orders room service. I am baffled

I’m so tired of self-righteous people pointing out the parents mistakes. Even if they were rotten parents, they didn’t deserve this. They are the victims, not the perpetrators. What kind of society attacks victims like this? It’s awful.

We pretty much think the same things for years Chris, 2 pathetic doctors and their friends too i might add, left their children alone asleep in a hotel room in a foreign country (could of been in England, France, Germany, USA) while they go out wining and dining plus partying with their friends who willingly left their own kids too because they are doctors the upper crust nothing will happen to their kids because they are better than anyone else's. Well everyone is human and every bleeds and any child who is black, white sky blue pink with yellow dots on them can be abducted from a hotel room. You will get these sicko's who purposely watch parents go out at night and leave their kids in the hotel room. They thought they had died and gone to heaven finding a pick of 3 kids to take didn't they. So while a 'commoners' child is safe with their common sense parents in their hotel room theirs was being taken by one of the sickest in the head person ever never to be found again. Many think that the parents are in on it as a lot of these upper crust people have children especially to be sold to be used for sex and i think it may of happened here. Maddie may be found alive but I don't think it is likely, although it would be a miracle and so nice if they did. It reminds me and a lot of others about the Jon Benet Ramsay case but different. People and myself thought the mother had wrote that letter etc and so think they were covering it up because their weird son had killed his sister and the parents knew and covered it up by making up a naff story which no one ever believed and still don't today. Who knows where she is and if she is still alive, but what we do know is that it is her parents fault for leaving Maddie and her siblings alone in that hotel room.

I have always been a suspicious about the true events of Maddies "disappearance". why are there documented inconsistencies in their statements, also contradictions, never explained, what was really going on with the Mcanns and friends, (bit of swapsy perhaps) why did they contact an MP in the U.K and tell that person Maddie was missing before contacting the local police. There are reports from "body language experts" that that say the Mccan's body language was that of people lying. I don't believe we will ever know the whole truth. And I don't believe the Mccan's are totally innocent of neglect at the very very least. There are many very detailed and credible accounts from quite a few sources that have followed this case closely, and far too many unanswered questions. And one is , Are the german police just looking for a scapegoat to clear up their crime figures, and using Maddie's case as an extra?

Very strange! Perhaps the parents gave the children cold medicine to keep them asleep?? I don’t understand how these rich parents didn’t have a babysitter. They could have brought one with them on vacation, rich people do that all the time. I think the parents are not completely innocent.

I think the parents killed Maddy and gave something to the twins so that they wouldn't wake up even while they were out. I think the parents night out was suppose to be an alibi.

The parents weren’t checking on them in those short intervals and they were not all going together to check on ALL their kids. They took turns going back to do a brief check and it was much less often than mentioned. Stephanie Harlowe does an amazing deep dive of this case with all the accurate details. If anyone has that time on their hands, I highly recommend her video.

What happened to the sketch that linked the Podesta brothers to this?

one thing that has always bothered me (aside from leaving children alone in a hotel, which is just not sensible at all) is that after its discovered madeleine is missing, when the mother runs back to raise the alarm – the twins are left alone again! why would you do that? why would you put your other children at risk again? (unless you knew there wasn't a risk because you knew what really happened?).

My son just turned 7 yesterday. Never ever I mean EVER would I put him to sleep and leave him at my own house let alone a hotel at a resort. Then on top of it they chose not to use the babysitting service that was available. Im completely baffled on why the parents did this and I guarantee they regret it to this day
