I think Delta owes you for advertising their product almost daily. It's a nice contraption. What a clever idea, plugging that hole in the kitchen floor with slabs of broken cement plus cement. Aren't you concerned about flooding in the "playground" during the rainy season? It will be a big pool for Akira. After having accompanied you (virtually) on a few walks with the girls, we know how the area gets flooded in the winter. Perhaps leaving some trees here and there on that flattened area for stabilization is not a bad idea, and would provide shade, too. It doesn't have to look entirely like the Low Lands, does it?

You can put a toothpick in between the switch and the plastic in the light switch so it stays on for now

Well Jasper another job done . Magiel doing a great job with the digger. Electric switches, not always easy to find the right one. I have the one with a plastic cover that protects the switch,keeps rain out. Some one said about bathroom tiling,personally use the boarding bathroom sheets,as it's a small space, cut down on expense. Concrete can be stained,painted and sealed for a floor.
