Thank you for your informative videos. Recently we were in the Açores. Pico island and we decided since my husband was born there to see if we could apply to reestablish our citizenship status. I my self was born in São Miguel island azores. This is our second marriage. Upon going to Camara Munincipal on pico island they told us that we would need to register our first marriages and then register the divorces and the. Register our second marriages. We found that odd and they really couldn’t explain why or didn’t want to explain why. We did however get our NIFS. I had to obtain my Nif with my portuguese birth certificate in my maiden name.
This is the best interview with Gilda. Leslie asked great questions and pointed out important information. Leslie sold me on Gilda. I don’t mean to bad mouth anyone, I found Gilda on Expat Portugal in 2021, I couldn’t understand what her company do and the Expat Portugal channel format was too noisy/busy for me. Great job!
