Here’s Why You WILL Fall In Love With Porto, Portugal (Porto Portugal Travel Vlog)

Welcome to my Porto Portugal Travel Vlog, where I take you with me on a quick 48 hours in Porto, showing you what to do in Porto, Portugal. If your experience is anything like mine, 48 hours will be enough time to fall in love with Porto Portugal, leaving you wanting to return again!

To start off my Porto Portugal Vlog and to show you the best things to do in Porto Portugal, I start off the morning the only way possible, by eating some delicious Portuguese Pastel de Nata’s. A Pastel de Nata is a delicious Portuguese egg tart pastry that you can find all over the country. No visit to Porto Portugal is complete without at least a few Pastel de Natas, which is definitely one of the best things to do in Porto! Next up on my Porto Portugal travel vlog, I climb up to the Miradouro da Vitoria, which is one of Porto’s many viewpoints. Porto Portugal is full of hills, which means you will get a great workout walking around the city, but it also means that there are tons of great viewpoints. Visiting some of Porto’s epic viewpoints is easily one of the top 10 things to do in Porto, Portugal.

After admiring some great city views of Porto, the next stop on my Porto Portugal vlog is to Cafe Santiago, to try the famous Francesinha sandwich. The Francesinha is the most iconic food to eat in Porto Portugal, and something you must try during your trip to Porto. Cafe Santiago is THE place to eat a Francesinha, so it’s a vital stop on my Porto Portugal Travel Vlog. After a delicious and hardy sandwich, and a quick coffee, the next stop on my Porto Portugal walking tour was to visit the Carmo and Carmelitas Churches. The Carmo and Carmelitas Churches are 2 churches right next to each other, with beautiful architecture and colors! It is a must see during your trip to Porto Portugal and easily one of best things to do in Porto.

Not far from the Carmo and Carmelitas Churches, and the next stop on my Porto Portugal Vlog is to the Clerigos Tower, which dominates Porto’s skyline. After admiring the Clerigos Tower, I made my way over to one of Porto’s most iconic buildings, the Palacio da Bolsa, which is the old stock exchange here in Porto Portugal. After relaxing by the Palacio da Bolsa and wandering the narrow Porto streets, the next stop on my Porto Portugal Travel Vlog, and a must see in Porto, is the Porto Cathedral. The Porto Cathedral is an iconic landmark in Porto and also boasts some great city views. To end my first day in Porto Portugal, I walked down to Cais da Ribeira, which is the Porto riverfront to watch a beautiful sunset. Cais da Ribeira is another top 10 thing to do in Porto Portugal.

To start off day 2 in Porto, I visited another iconic place in the city for breakfast called A Loja dos Pasteis de Chaves. This is a great local spot and definitely one of the best things to do in Porto Portugal. After a delicious breakfast the next stop on my Porto Portugal Travel Vlog was to walk across the Dom Luis Bridge, which is only for pedestrians and the city tram. Walking the Dom Luis Bridge is one of the best things to do in Porto, because you get some incredible city views for free! Once on the other side of the Dom Luis Bridge, I visited a tranquil park and climbed some more hills for beautiful views of the city of Porto.

One of the best things to do in Porto Portugal is to try the famous Port Wine, so the next stop on my Porto Travel Vlog was to do a DIY wine tasting tour. I would highly recommend trying out some of the Port wineries around the city as its a great way to learn about Port wine, escape the hustle and bustle of the city, and connect with another part of Porto’s beautiful culture.

After 48 hours in Porto Portugal, I have fallen in love with this city and it has become one of my favorite cities in all of Europe. I hope you enjoyed my Porto Portugal Travel Vlog and that you get the chance to experience Porto for yourself!
