  1. Well done, Chris and Steve! Thank you for answering all of my questions and for "bringing us along" with you. This is on my radar after learning about the portage option last summer. Happy to see how you did it.

  2. Really enjoyed this video. I had read about the Camino before but wrote it off because hiking all day with a backpack containing all of our things sounded like a nightmare. We regularly walk 10+ miles per day and now knowing that there are companies that can transport our things…well it might be in our future!

  3. Wonderful video! It’s sounds like such a wonderful experience. I always imagine a lot of sunshine but I must be thinking of the way from France. We look forward to doing the Camino. The summer in Ireland sounds wonderful too.

  4. We were planing to walk one of the great walks in New Zealand but I had an issue with my hip and had to cancel. Turns out it got rained out and everyone had to be helicoptered out. I would consider the Camino.

  5. Great video guys! Loved hearing about your walk.
We’re planning to start our retirement and slowmad lifestyle by completing the Sarria to Santiago walk. We have been wanting to do this for so long and think what a great way to start our retirement. I’ve been watching loads of videos and enjoy watching others complete their journey on Facebook pages which we follow. The Sarria to Santiago is approx 115km and we’re planning to break it down to 10-14 km’s a day for a comfortable walk and to enable us to enjoy the little towns each night.
