Hello Alex – you, Melissa, & Family are role models!. I am enjoying all your u-tube content. Have a wonder-filled Christmas. # Thank You so much. Irish Fan.
When filming- third option- there are easily adjustable short tripods you can use. you can move them!!
We need a Christmas Special featuring Patrick's new tree from the hoard house!
Not sure if you will read this. The dolls you acquired, the black and he with one leg missing. Will she be in next auction? Thanks, Vicki
Thanks 😊
You might be losing alot in the end because its too fast pace. Why not break it up into several days. I didt even get to blink before she moved on.
Most of these items are vintage and worth so much more.
so much fun to watch !!! even when its not live
English is not my native language.
usually I can keep up with the language, but I don't understand this woman at all.
To be considered "vintage", an item should be at least 20 years old. Some sellers and collectors use the term "true vintage" which usually means prior to the 80's or 90's. I can't believe clothes from 2000 are now vintage, but they are. 😮
My local auction company does their online auctions as a timed format. So lot 1 would close at 9:00 am and lot 2 would close st 9:01, but if someone bids in the last 2 minutes it will give everyone 2 more minutes to bid. I feel like they are leaving money on the table with their format.
I missed seeing what the black ceramic panthers sold for, anyone?
Listened/watched the who thing! Lol…silly man
Oh I didnt know to look in the "live" tab on your channel to find the auction tabs.I dont have time being a small sewist and Christmas fairs coming up to watch the auctions live! I kept wondering why not in play list. Right now you mentions some people buying back their items from what you donated. I dont think they would mind. You sorted an impossible task for them. I found one of my upcycled tshirt items back at our tiny thrift. I felt bad and do know the person by sight that bought it. If I see her will offer her another item or the cash back. I gently try to convince some women not to buy if I know too small. Thats the main thing I do in clothing upcycles. Make them fit and flare to our bodies! I buy mens shirts and tshirts and make them much more considerate to the female body! I have since age 10 and 67 now! I have a mid range $10 selling price partly because most job where we retired more high desert rural are only part time. People tell me my prices are too low but like you I do not want to not sell. And the town also gives me tons. Ive been given antique sewing machines which I taught myself to fix in old age. I also then give items away too if not selling or my jean bags to kids. Or any smalls. All us venders have loyal shoppers that give me twice my tag price too! We are all mostly upcyclers and under the yearly hobby limit anyway. Just encouraging reuse, not to fill the landfill.
wow, she is going waaaay too fast…
So much great stuff!! Congrats to all the winning bidders! And congrats to Alex for the successful auction!
Kudos to you Alex, on another successful venture into entrepreneurial hoarded house clearing!
The new drinking game: The auctioneer is going too fast!
She's going too fast for people to enter in a competing bid. The other people who have done your auctions here gave people a few moments to at least read the title and look at the image. Auctioneers should care that they give people time to bid and to get the seller a decent price. I would be unhappy. They might as well have just put them up for sale rather than auction. She's selling antiques for way lower than they should go for, even at a fair price to the buyer. Some of the deals are insane.
Dang. My whole life I’ve heard that an antique is 40+ years old. Oops. I’ve been selling things as antiques that really weren’t. 😅
Does anyone know what the Mrs. Beasley went for?
The evolution you have come from to where you are now ?
EBay
Shop
Auction
All on you tube
Your doing well take time to stand back and take it all in Alex ?
Your following your dream buddy 😊
What was the total of sales? Does anyone know?
Great that you are in pfit lane now even before Predator and jewelery comes up
This selection looks wonderful Alex. I went through all of them and it was quite satisfying to watch. Thank you.
1500 items. If $25 each, total would be $37,500. $28,125 after paying the auction company 25%. I know you said you get better than that. Just proving your point that with the volume of items it's OK for some things to go for cheap, you still make a profit.
It's the Camara losing focus and refocusing. It only takes a moment for it to refocus. Be patient folks LOL
I'm in BC, and most people say gar-auge.
I also prefer to own a physical object as opposed to a download. I see too many people at a loss as to what to play at holiday get togethers because all they have is downloads.
Yes, the pram and more sold too low. She was way to fast for an auctioneer; she's not in a competition. People don't have a chance to buy
A lot of europeans say "gair-edge"
