It's my understanding that if you don't open the FBI envelope then you won't need an apostille. Did you have an issue because you opened it?
San Francisco also requires no less than 12 months for a rental contract, no exceptions. Just FYI
San Francisco requires a physical visit, you cannot mail it in if you are in their region. Just FYI
Great vid! Thanks 😀
Hi G&G. I didn’t realize you’d have to all this for a long visit! This sounds the same as if you are applying for a D7 visa! For a D7 you must have a 1 year rental agreement. All this for only a 4 month visa? Wow!
Talking on camera ain't an easy thing.
Fair play to Glenda. That said, that isn't the first YT channel you've ever had, or is it?
I like this one too. Very clear and direct. If you have a criminal history you can still get your visa, as long as whatever you were convicted for would not be punishable in Portugal by imprisonment for over 1 year. I believe you just discouraged about a billion convicted pot smokers from trying to get a visa. Also, if you were pardoned or the charges were dismissed after completing your sentence the FBI report reads simply "charges dismissed." I am told Portugal then accepts that statement no matter how long the sentence was.
Great information. Thank you.
The easiest way is to realize that you were born in Portugal and even though you have been living in the USA for over 50 years you don't need to go through all of this:) Great video.
Amazing helpful information… thanks so much… currently I pay 2kUS for a rental (then additional for utils), how does that compare to offerings there?
