How did Brazil Become a Country?
Once Portugal realized that this newfound land was on their side of the Tordesillas line, the initial goal was to establish a settlement with a focus on monopolizing trade, particularly of the widely popular pau-brasil redwood trees.

It’s amazing how Portugal 🇵🇹 managed to maintain such a large territory from the envious European powers
Talk about a glossing over history!!! What about the historic 20th century initiative to "Eurosize (whiten)" Brazil???
There are so many historical innacuracies that is difficult to point just onde. But I start appoint that Pedro Álvares Cabral did not reach the Brazilian coast by accident. Thais is a "fairy tale". There is no historical evidence that the Portuguese fleet lost away in the Atlântico ocean.
video yang menarik. salam hormat dari indonesia. brazil dan indonesia adalah negara yang mirip karena hutannya yang hijau 🌲🌳🌴🏞️. 🇮🇩❤️🇧🇷
How did Brazil Become a Country? Simple. The Portuguese found a territory, occupied it, administered it and expanded it over 250 years, until they handed the 19th century Brazilians a great nation ready to use. Then Brazilians just needed to not ruin the work of the Portuguese, but unfortunately they were not very successful in that mission.
I want more videos about Brazil thanks ♥️
A little disappointed not much was mentioned on Pedro II's very successful reign, but awesome video
I knew native Brazillians were canibals (before Portugese arrival)
Why can't any of you ever say joao?
Why Brazil hate their grandparents (Portugal)? Everyone with Portuguese name & DNA in them.
So all natives die?
Good summary of Brazil. I've been intrigued with the country and the Portuguese language since the early 1980s.
To say Brasil should be grateful to portugal is a foul insult. Grateful for the demonic slavery practices? Or the inate racism toward the black population? Grateful for exploiting and consuming the land? Bitch! If you don't..
"Treaty de Torde-SIY-as" not Torde"SILLIAS"
Cool
Still on the twenty years of CIA-sponsored dictatorship topic: if you think boomers are bad, you don't know boomers brought up by a right-wing dictatorship that literally had "civic duty" as a class in school entirely dedicated to propaganda.
Fairy tales. the blacks are indigenous to the Americas not the mixed race people they try to put up in your face.
"In the 1960s Brazil would fall under the command of the military" is a nice way to put it, but how about "the Lyndon Johnson CIA financed a coup that led to a bloody dictatorship because the social democrat president was 'too communist'?"
Brazil 🇧🇷 was only Portugal 🇵🇹 colony in Latin America because Spanish and England 🏴 empire kicked out Portugal from Dominica 🇩🇲
Depois da monarquia e da república…. A bananública! Viva a Bananública!
Would be nice if you can do this series about each country in the world
VIVA BRASIL!!🇧🇷 FROM SERBIA WITH LOVE 🇷🇸
I see that video with the notes of your grandpa and he was from Romania so you are half Romanian
nothing but a sad story. You forgot to mention that Portugal would bring all the undesirable criminals to Brazil cleaning Portugal. I just wish they would never have had found Brazil so the poor innocent Indians could live their lives in peace surrounded by that nature.
Missionaries are worse than pedos.
Beautiful, kind, colourful, smily, friend colossous Brazil! Our pride and our friend forever. Long live to Brazil from your brothers in Portugal🇵🇹
Basically Brazil is a colony that owes black people reparations.
So, thanks to Portugal in a way, we got the likes of Pele, Garincha and Ronaldinho?
Why couldn’t they leave African damn fuckin alone.
Wait, is brazil a country ?
I’m Brazilian & Nicaraguan, there’s a lot of similarities and differences between Brazil and Spanish Latin America but once you understand enough from both sides it just comes down the language differences but the culture is basically the same. The same way culture varies greatly in Latin countries it does the same in Brazil in different regions or states but they all have that unique Latin blend that’s thanks to the mixing of 3 different parts of the world
Thanks to?? Lol
