THE PROCESS

☑️ CRITERIA
– You must have lived in your country of origin for minimum of 6 months, consecutive.
– You must have proof of living in that country i.e bills, wages
– Must have owned the car for a minimum of 6 months
– Must have been in Portugal less than one year
📄 DOCUMENTS NEEDED
– Residency Certificate
– Residence Certificate issued by Junta de Freguesia (this is in addition to the residency Cert to declare where you live)
– NIF number
– Passport
– Drivers licence
– Car registration document / V5 / Log book
– Certificate of Conformity (COC)
– Receipt from when I bought the car
– Proof of living in country of origin; ALL of these where requested; council bills, water bills, gas and electric, rent or mortgage, wage slips as I didn’t have these I had to send in credit card statements to prove spending on things like grocery shopping.
– IMT Inspection Certificate
– Annual funds declaration from finacia (they may or may not ask for this)
– Non dept declaration from finacia
– Non dept declaration from Social Security Department

Headlamps €300
Customs fee €470
Number plates €15
Registration €65
Rui’s fee €300
