I can live for under $2000 canadian $/mo here in Calgary in my own home, 2 vehicles. Similar to Bozeman Mont. climate. (Basic expenses excl. travel / entertainment. ) House- $1200 taxes + utilities + insurances. $300/mo cars, $200/mo food, 150 health/dental, $150 everything else. Add $500 more for travel / ent.
Of course, I could potentially rent my house out here and relocate to Ecuador and get all my living costs paid by rental income , lol. Would be one way to escape winter. Picking up a hobby farm for cheap might keep me occupied ?

In Cuenca, Ecuador I pay $40.00 mo. for Blue Box Health coverage and they were terrific when I recently broke my arm.
