as for fuel saving, I perfectly legally use 60% diesel and 40% clean new vegetable oil in my partner, runs just the same, and it is more environmentally friendly! no need to alter the fuel system at all!

Now the expensive fuel prices in europe are very different, from country to another country.
ie the fuel in germany for 2,06 €/litre costs the same 1,70 € only in Switzerland.
Now in germany would be the highest fuel prices in Europe.

Now many germans has got his fuel in … Poland.
So these Poland petrol stations runs out of fuel.

But our oil price is not so high, as sometimes in the past.
There was the oil more expensive, but the fuel prices not so high as now.
Some says: Extra profit for the oil companies and fuel business.

Old cooking oil not a good idea! I knackered an estate car with proper eco diesel!

Is you van diesel or petrol? Can you not put old cooking oil in the van as fuel? You could go to takeaways and ask them for their old cooking oil.
