Josh and Kalie have been studying Portuguese online with Portuguese with Carla. They have been going through her course called The Journey. After several months of learning, they meet their teachers face to face to see how much they have progressed with the language.
Starting while down in Faro in late spring/early summer of 2021, they logged onto The Journey with Portuguese with Carla and began working their way through the course averaging 30 minutes per day. It was about all they could do to commit to 30 minutes a day as they initially wanted to do an hour but found themselves getting buried under filming and editing during the summer.
After 5 months a week and after completing 1 year in Portugal, Josh and Kalie took the train from Porto to Coimbra to meet with Carla and Marlon and do the exact same oral exam they took on day 1 of their lessons.
