How To Move To Italy Legally (Italian Visas & Italian Citizenship)

How do you move to Italy and how can you become a resident of Italy? It’s important to consider how you can get a visa to enter Italy and remain in Italy up to 90 days or even longer than 90 days and make Italy your home. In this episode of the Italian Citizenship Podcast, hosts Marco Permunian, an Italian attorney, along with video podcaster and dual-citizen expat, Rafael Di Furia ( @RafaelDiFuria ) go over what options are available to get a visa for Italy or to answer the question… Do you need a visa for Italy?

  1. Amazing and informative episode as always. Can you guys talk about the possibility of getting short term rentals in the case someone wants to spend the 90 days in Italy as a tourist? I know normal rental agreements in Italy are usually quite long (relative to the US). Are those very hard to find/ prohibitively much more expensive than the usual rentals? Thanks guys!!

  2. I would greatly appreciate a video on the last point made by Rafael, i.e., for spouses of an EU citizen. I have many friends in this situation that have asked me about this and don’t have a clue where to begin. Grazie.
