  1. This was such a great tutorial and I got inspired to try a similar holiday storefront! After spending a couple of hours sketching and then going back over my drawing with my pen and ink, I was finally ready to paint. That's when I found out that I had not grabbed a waterproof pen… darn it! I'll pay more attention next time… Thank you, Paul, for another great tutorial and I'll just be more careful! 🙁

  2. Hi Paul Love all your tutorials, they bring great joy as well as great instruction. I just bought your book and painted the poppies! Thanks for all your help learning how to paint in watercolor.

  3. Looks brilliant paul, reminds me of a turner, and pissarro style again!! I can do turner style easy, pissarro I have trouble , even from his sketches 🤫. But your painting looks brilliant

  4. A simpler and slower paced time. Magical in the eyes of children pressing their faces against the windows to see the wonders inside. Hoping Santa will leave them brightly wrapped presents under the Christmas tree. 😀

  5. Line and wash gives my paintings way more sophistication than I am actually capable of. Thank you for tutorials that build confidence and continue to emphasize and practice watercolor techniques.
