  1. Awesome video! That was almost the perfect way to visit S. Miguel, think you just miss 4 things: Lagoa do congro and the hike is also nice; Mosteiros Beach – you get huge shots from the black sand beach to the green/dark stone imponent hill, its exceptional when a little foggy; without a doubt Galego restaurant has the best and classic beef in açores; and Saca rolhas restaurant also a place to go but little expensive.

  2. Thank you for your incredible guide. I was in the azores with my sister and we checked out many of your ideas and ate at the same restaurants. Just an incredible place to visit and you made the research part with this video so much easier and faster 🙌🏼

  3. I lived in sao miguel for 25 years, and you need a life time to discover all its beauty, one of the last jobs I did as a contractor in the island has renovate the terra Nostra hotel , lots of good memories

  4. Sooo what a weird coincidence, just scroling and finding your vid reveals that Im the guy that pick your voucher in Terra Nostra xD.
Also Lidia goes there soo many times and she is awesome . Got yourself a new subscriber love the vid

  5. Amazing man! Being a local, its fantastic so see that people from other points of the planet enjoy so much our island and our archipelago. Great Video. Keep up!

  6. The Azores have been high on my travel to-do list for ages. But there is a high certainty that I’ll be travelling to all the Portuguese islands in the near future (🤞) and the one thing I’m sure to do for preparation is watch your videos for my itinerary. Great content.

  7. Just curious if you have ever learned about the Atlantis story. The Azores is most likely the location of the ancient Atlantis people. However the majority of the azores sank into the ocean at the end of the last ice age, leaving only a fraction above the water. The azores really seem like a powerful and wondrous place.

  8. I'm in the process of researching to plan our 2023 trip, and your video has increased my excitement exponentially!! Thank you for such great tips!
Do you think a couple of active, young-at-heart old farts (early 50s) would be okay at the hostel or should we try somewhere else? I wouldn't want the younger guests to be uncomfortable.
