  1. Do you put an additive in your gas cans to prevent junk from clogging your carburetors on your small engines and wheeler. We’ve been using StarTron by starbrite for years now and have never had any issues with clogging or non starting.

  2. IN TN, we have a local concrete block factory for the rural area – don't know if WV has anything like that.
We are under severe weather now, do not know where you are in the state – but Nashville is already under a Tornado warning until 1am for a couple of hours already. It is 6:30 here now. Are you in Eastern or Central time?

  3. You wouldn't think so Ed but the tailgate causes an extreme amount of drag. If you remove it you will be amazed at the difference.

When I worked with Clam Outdoors I traveled all over the East Coast and even a couple of trips as far west as Minnesota hauling four-wheelers ,snow machines, ice fishing traps and all the other associated gear 2 Sportsman shows , ice fishing tournaments and doing seminars at places like Cabela's, Gander Mountain and so on. Without the tailgate I got much much better mileage.

Something else I did was I split a 55 gallon plastic Barrel in half lengthways and cut off the ends that had the threaded holes on it and joined them together and mounted it to the front of the trailer kind of like a half round Windbreak. In winter time when I was on the roads they cut down on the road debris getting on your cargo and it made a slight Improvement in gas mileage as well.

Those are just a couple of things I did that worked with mine to improve the gas mileage. Before I did any of those improvements I kind of Gulped at the gas mileage too!

  4. Went on a road trip with my RV over the summer, east coast to west coast, 7 miles per gallon. Saw a lot of national parks and other wilderness. Would be a lot more expensive now with these gas prices!
