Madeirans are very far from a progressive, tolerant society and are very attached to an old, very backwards, uneducated way of living but the island has great infrastructure, absurd natural beauty and much dignity. It's diametrically opposed to mainland Portugal.
I think that could be SOJU in the green bottle. All the kdramas show SOJU as a common after work drink.
