Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

  1. Not sure if someone asked this question about washing rental car before you return them. Is it a requirement in Portugal? Or you being extra considerate? I ask because in US I have never done that, they have guys at rental place who wash them, only fill the tank. Just curious 🤔 thank you… gathering information for my future travel tips..

  2. I have very fond memories of being inside my dad's car while on the car-washing machine.
I allowed my daughter to be inside for one recently although it is forbidden in Portugal – I believe it is some kind of safety-related measure from EU, but I fail to see the risk in it.

  3. Hi I have been following you two since 2014 and I just want to say Bea I thi k you are a beautiful soul and I love your laugh and miss you beautiful smile. So happy to hear your laughter today😘

  4. I recall decades ago going to a car wash in the US and we didn’t sit in the car. This was kinda a new thing. It was a very nice car wash and longer than the ones we see today. There were employees supervising the wash and we were able to walk down a glass hallway to observe its progress. It was a spectacle really.

  5. We love hearing you explaining isn’t everything you do ask for more siding for simple reason some people who doesn’t know all about this is good for them I am one of these retired farmers and I knew all this stuff but I enjoy listening to shit again because some people don’t know this kind of stuff and it’s pretty cool. She does stuff you what you’re doing now with the electric fence we didn’t have that back on my days.

  6. Thank you Bea I saw thee & I am so happy you are close to the gardebn oh pardon me! Theo & the goats! & I hope to see you soon Cause GOD LOVES YOU & SO DO I HUGS eh From Can ah dah…London eh!

  7. Love your electrical fence installation!! Although I'm sure it wasn't as easy as you made it appear, it was a great invention someone made. You must really like driving!! Ha! It was so special hearing Bee and knowing she's right there filming. How's the language studies going Bee?
I look forward to, and love all your videos!!

  8. next time just use a blade of grass to test the electric fence, with a green blade of grass there is enough water in it that the electricity to jump thru it but it will be a lot less then touching it directly.

  9. Hello from New Mexico! I’ve been enjoying your adventures for a few years now and will continue to do so. Theo, you are doing a fantastic job taking the lead in the videos. I am happy that Bea can recoup. However, I must say I also really miss you Bea! Looking forward to seeing you again when you feel ready

  10. Loved the odd socks and leopard print shoe shot of you both, lovely to hear Bee,looking forward to her being on screen again. The Goats are looking super shiny, healthy and happy. I'm surprised Theo can drive the Fiat 500 they are so small,I drove my friends and me knees met my ears as I'm 6ft! Nice to see you at the barn conversion today.

  11. Hi Bea, love your introduction of miracle mountain and it's good to see you. Love the electric fence device Theo.
Your very busy people and whatever project you have done I love them all. Your the best pointer when it comes to the stone walls.
I've viewed many others and your the best.😸. Have a good week

  12. Do you have a make, model and where you got the electric fence kit from – looks superb for moving the goats around the land! Oh, and if you have to touch anything that you get an electric shock from, use the back of your hand as electricity will contract your muscles so you may end up grabbing the wire and then can’t let go. 😵

  13. So nice seeing y’all on the off-grid homestead again.
The re-positioning goat enclosure fence is brilliant.
Those goats will eat anything! Great way go groom the property almost effortlessly.
Wishing you and Bea, and all the animals well.
Thanks for giving us a peek into your world.
