If you pass via Aljezur I have a spare room in a lovely old farmhouse in a quiet valley 5 mins from the town or plenty of room on the land to park a campervan! I do a lot of ocean swimming and body surfing here and there's a great gluten free pizzeria! I've been watching your channel for the past few years and it would be lovely to say hi if you are in the area. Enjoy your travels and house searching.

I would choose the Algarve to live in as you like the sea. It has a warm climate and it is sunny all the year round. You can find nice places in Tavira and Vila Real de Santo Antonio, very close to Spain. If you have an extra income it would be wonderful, pay attention to all the details if you are into buying a property, be careful with very isolated places and try not buy a ruin it will take a lot of money to renovate. The trails on the hillside reminded me a bit of Torrey Pines in San Diego. But that coast line and rock formations, the color of the water, breathtaking. Thank you again for your talents!

Oh & the storks!!! I’ve never seen so many & in Rasmalho there is an entire field of their nests 🪹 so huge! I made a video hiking up on the side of a mountain watching the sunset as they all swarmed in for their “happy hour!” 😂

So funny! I’ve been here since Tuesday in nearby Rasmalho. I do love Silves! Spent some time in Portimão & Carvoeiro so far. Exploring if this is where I want to be but I feel I may head North as much as I love being here near the sea. 😊
Oh & apparently my flight had been delayed because of a hurricane which you rarely hear of in the US. All that seaweed washing up on shore & yesterday in Carvoeiro they were trucking it out.
