  1. I also have done Isla Tortuga. However, It can get crowded because it is a one day tour also from San Jose transportation included (less time on the island though)

  2. Thank you for this Chris.

Beautiful place and a wonderful touristy thing to do. Not something I know you’d do all the time, a little pricey but Hey, nice change of pace.

Nice shots underwater and the editing on the sound was excellent. Great looking water and sand.
Those Coco-Locos and Pina Colada’s looked so good. Eat healthy and drink alcohol as well.
Visiting you guys is on my list of things I defiantly have to do, you’re on my list as soon as I get my car and start to explore.

  3. One of our local friends, in Tambor, does charters to the Island as well. Tavo's family has had a beach spot, to the east of Zumba tours, on the island for years. His boat is smaller than the one you took, but we have gone with him 6 or 8 times with friends in the last 12 years.
We were there in December, and saddly the local mascot, Willamena, ( a crippled wild boar ) had past away during the covid year. She loved laying at your feet as you buried her in sand. It was pretty neat how tame a wild boar can get!

  4. I spend a lot of time in Montezuma and playa Samara. Never did this trip But my Zuma tour water taxi to Jaco Made a detour here And it was a very beautiful spot. Zuma tours is excellent. Maybe I will go to Isla Tortuga in December on my way from Jaco to Samara.
