Headline: US Investors in Limbo as Portugal Weighs End of Golden Visa.
The prime minister of Portugal Antonio Costa had stated that there was no justification for the continuation of the golden visa program.. Given the nature of Portuguese bureaucracy, one doesn't really want to be caught in the pipeline when the program is removed from the shelf. In conversation with a Portuguese lawyer who specializes in franchising law, the term gentrification has been mentioned more than once for the first time since I met him. I wonder why?
