Iveco Daily Conversion Van Tour | Our Off Grid Home whilst we renovate our Tiny House in Portugal

This is the final video in our Iveco Daily Minibus Conversion series, we hope you enjoy having a look around.
Now that we are sure we have our residency in Portugal the dream
of building a semi self-reliant life may be starting to become a reality.
We expect that ‘Mungo the Minibus’ will be our full time home for the next
year as we travel the UK and Europe, and whilst we work on our tiny house and land in Central Portugal.

  1. Brilliant and so well done. I love your van! Elaine, please don’t forget a space for your art supplies, which I hope you will be able to enjoy after all your hard work. Im so excited for you two. Take care.

  2. Well done you 2 really really comfy.
I'd be interested in you comparing the cost of starting from scratch with Mungo to buying something already equipped especially with a private toilet and shower. Of course I wouldn't expect you to divulge all your expenditures but just to give a ball park comparison.
I love Andrew Ditton and Dougals travel blogs where he compares caravaning with a camper van and motor home.a
    But really guys well done💪💪💪

  3. (Moira Ashton) Awwww! I used to watch Mary, Mungo and Midge , When my girls were little,!!! Brings back memories…. your van is gorgeous, you're so talented to do All that – the bed looks so cosy ,and Dear Max thinks so too, — his skin trouble has cleared up now? is he still on his special diet? LOVE the table – brilliant idea! Its all absolutely fabulous!!! Love to you all , 🥰😍🤩💗💗💗xxxxx

  4. Amazing job on your travel bus. It is beautiful and so well thought out. You should get a portable shower that you can hang out side on a folding hook. I saw one made using a child's hoola-hoop and shower curtain. They just purchased a portable bag shower that you fill up with water as it already has the spray attachment. It works on gravity. They just hang the bag in the sun and it warms the water for a pleasant shower when you need it. It tucks away after using it or you could probably build an outside compartment at the back of the bus you could store it in, so it is ready to work. All in all your bus is incredible and I can see you having many luxurious trips and adventures. It is wonderful to have your own conveniences and accommodation these days and so economical to. One thing I really like about your bus is it is so airy, fresh and uncluttered. Great Job! Have lots of fun on your adventures and by the way you both look terrific and so young to be retired. Give Max a hug for me as he is such a sweetie. Thank you for sharing. All The Best! Vanessa
