1) Cedric Soares is willing to leave Arsenal at the end of this season
According to Football London, Cedric Soares is willing to leave Arsenal at the end of this season.
The Portugal international joined the Gunners from Southampton initially on loan in January 2020. That move was made permanent in the following summer, but the transfer never really made sense to Arsenal fans.
2) Pablo Mari claims he was always ‘very good’ at Arsenal but Arteta barely used him
Pablo Mari has had his say on his time at Arsenal before he moved to Udinese on loan last month.
The Spanish defender joined the Gunners, initially on loan, from Flamengo in January 2020. That move was made permanent in the following summer, but he was never the first-choice for Arsenal.
3) Aston Villa closely monitoring Arsenal striker Lacazette
A report from Turkish outlet Sporx has claimed that Aston Villa are interested in signing Alexandre Lacazette when his Arsenal contract expires in the summer.
Lacazette remains set to leave the Emirates at the end of the season, as things stand. His deal with the Gunners expires in the summer.
4) Arsenal, Tottenham & Newcastle lurking ahead of transfer battle over Premier League star
Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle United are reportedly among the clubs interested in a potential transfer deal for Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans this summer.
The Belgium international has been a star performer at the King Power Stadium for some time now, and it seems he could have a long list of suitors in for him this summer.
According to Don Balon, Real Madrid are looking to strengthen in midfield, and could turn to Tielemans if they cannot sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio.
5) Arsenal boost in race for Serie A and Croatian star
It has been reported that two of the bigger London clubs, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, are currently in a cold transfer war over the potential signing of the Inter Milan and Croatian star Ivan Perisic.
The Italian new outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, via hitc.com has reported that the Croat International is currently at odds with his current Serie A team and the state of affairs will leave him free to move this summer.
6) Romano shares Arsenal stance on signing Renato Sanches
Fabrizio Romano has told Que Golazo that Arsenal are still interested in signing Renato Sanches from Lille, but suggested that the Gunners are yet to open talks with the midfielder.
Sanches remains one of the most highly sought-after players in Europe. Of course, he helped Lille win the Ligue 1 title last season. And he followed that with some superb performances at Euro 2020 with Portugal.
Unsurprisingly, he was linked with a Premier League return. Both Arsenal and Liverpool are admirers of the 24-year-old. And it was suggested back in November that the Gunners were looking to sell members of their squad to raise the funds to meet Lille’s £46 million asking price.
7) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reveals how it felt to make his Barcelona debut
Former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has taken to Instagram to send a message to Barcelona fans after making his debut for the club.
The Gabon international left the Gunners for Barca this January, and could end up being an exciting signing for the Catalan giants as they look to rebuild after a difficult few years.
It remains to be seen if Aubameyang will deliver the goods, as he’s not exactly been performing at the peak of his powers either for a while now.
