Laurence Jansen (b.1981) is an artist working with collage, drawing, digital art and painting who lives and works in London, UK.

“I am interested in the figurative form and architectural landscape to see how abstract techniques can depict or symbolise a narrative. The nebulous almost obliterated figures usually worked as oil on canvas, are often juxtaposed with detailed objects associated with the identity of the character, that intend to trigger missconceptions and assumptions about the people in the painting and their objectives.”

PADA is an Art Residency & Gallery based in a post-industrial site near Lisbon, Portugal.
