Sé de Leiria – Leiria cathedral
The Leiria belltower
Beautiful old town streets
Rua Direita
Praça Rodrigues Lobo
Largo 5 de Outubro
AND
A delicious lunch at Adega dos Caçadores restaurant.

This is a great, budget day out in Leiria. And there is still so much more to see, so we’ll have to return. Hope you enjoy!

  1. Its also very peaceful, but to we that live here there's only a few things to do. In particular, to me and my husband, we ended up enjoying just spending time in the (small) shopping mall after some time, its a nice place to eat and relax.
But I get its a nice place for visiting too, mainly because of the castle 😊.
Leiria being in the middle of both Lisbon and Porto makes it easy to go to either city in weekends, we live here for 3 years now, and don't think we will be moving any time soon, we really love it here, so glad you guys had a good time 🙂.

  2. Thx Lee & Mandy for showing us the castle that we’ve been told by Victor, our driver, to visit. He also spoke about the churches you pointed out. I agree that there is more to see there than one would think. Your videography is excellent.

  3. What a frugal day – free funicular and then only €2.50 for the castle – that's my kind of day! A well deserved 7000 subscribers – won't be long before it's up to 10,000!! Enjoyed the video as usual, looking forward to seeing more of your adventures 🙂 Andrew.

  4. I know Mandy loves toilets but I reckon lee should show some awesome Victorian urinals. They’re some great ones. Probably uk but they could potentially stretch to Europe. Weird request but I’m sometimes in awe of awesome Victorian urinals. 🤷‍♂️

  5. Great video guys, glad weather was not too bad for you. Love the orange jumper Mandy, looks great. (It's the one from market in Cascais right?) Lunch looked amazing, still great prices, but no wine??
Hey do you still have to wear masks in Portugal or your choice?
Well done, you guys cover so much even in a day trip.

  6. Love your videos. Maybe you could put the date of the footage in the videos so people don't get confused. Because now in May the weather is really nice.

  7. Congrats on the 7k subs to the team MandyLee. Nice short video, pity you guys were short on time.
Lovely castle and town with nice streetart, but pity that so many grafity-gangs exist in Portugal.
StreetArt is beautiful, but tags ruin everything.

To Mandy.. That 1€ cardigan suits you perfectly! 😊
