This video is as interesting as watching cement dry 😀
Its all about us applying lime cement to the exposed weathered outer walls of our Central Portugal house to protect it from the elements and hopefully make it look better.
It was 4 very hard days work but we are delighted with the results.
We have a buy me a coffee page if you like to send us some encouragement, and we really do appreciate all the comments, likes and subscriptions to our channel.

good job,i could not do any better 🙂
cobbled stone pavement – calçada.
Looks great mate, I like the rustic look too. 👍
If you let it go slightly firm them smooth over it with a large damp sponge, will give the rustic but smoother effect you seem to be looking for.
The projects that Tapas and Fika take on are never easy projects and their end result is always done nicely that adds great improvement. Great care on the troubled spots is great for structural integrity.. Great work ethics. Project are finished without any distractions and the work site is always cleaned up, the critical part of any construction job so no accidents occur. The hard work they are putting into this investment is going to yield many years of enjoyment for them. Nice piece of property, good investment.
the Portuguese small stones is a Calzada (not sure of spelling). Your house looks so much better now! Not sure if you follow Nick from Project Portugal, he has videos about how to lay those small stones. He also did a video about cement v lime here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhvpWi2oUcU
A plastering trowel will make it easier and faster for you . plus smother as well
Nice Job !!!! 👍
