  1. Hi Mandy and Lee. Catching up with your videos since Christian is back from his 6 month hospital stay. Congratulations on the cover and posters all over Lisbon. We were wondering about accessibility. Is Lisbon a wheelchair friendly city? It didn’t like it is in the video. Stay fluffy! (Eric)

  2. Hi Mandy & Lee, We are travelling to Lisbon next April and wondered if you had any advice on buying a SIM card in Portugal? What type is a good value? Where can you buy a SIM card in Lisbon? What is the value of having a SIM card for the country you are visiting instead of using your data plan from home? Can you text internationally and make phone calls and use data with a Portuguese SIM card? Any info you can share would be most appreciated. Thanks!

  3. You can still get that view from the top of that Santa Justa lift by walking from the street above onto the platform, or so I've seen in other people's Lisbon vlogs… and I thought you could use your Via Viagem card on it? I might be out of date with that…

  4. So glad to have watched this, we are going to Lisbon in 2 days. Cant wait!…I have to add that my husband and I finally found an enjoyable couple doing videos about the place and not about themselves (getting dressed, putting make-up on before the trip, waking-up, etc..)!

  5. My research for our trip to Lisbon and Porto revealed a hack to get to the top of Santa Justa lift, avoiding the queue and saving some cash. If you are at the top of the stairs around the lift, you need only walk less than 10 meters north (downhill) on R. do Carmo and look to your left for a shop across the street with an elevator at the back. That free elevator takes you up to the Carmo convent ruins, from which you climb a couple flights of stairs to the "bridge". It's free to walk on the bridge, and only another €1.50 if you want to climb the stairs to the platform on top of the lift.

  6. Hi Mandy and Lee, thank you for a whirlwind tour of Lisbon, one of my favourite cities in the world. It certainly wasn't my favourite city on April 25, 1974 when I got caught up in the Carnation Revolution. The Portuguese military in Lisbon were not so friendly to me but I have learned for forgive and love but never forget considering the political circumstances.

  7. I love Lisboa. Great for a day trip… I did it a few times! Love to see your posters, so much fun! I hope you managed to grab one for yourself after that campaign was over! I’m sure your family would love to have one. Take care!

  8. Playing Sardines on a Tram 🐟🐟🐟🐟 great stuff, looked a great day out, I rather overcast weather sun is your enemy taking piks n vid think you mastered this, wow that's some walking you guys done need to have a word with #Reebok #Adidas, Great vid as always 😎👍

  9. Lisbon is indeed a wonderful town. I live and I work (finaly I was able to work as teacher in my hometown after many years in different places in the country) here and I find it amazing every time I walk in the streets. It was also great to see how you made this epic 10 hours walking tour in Portugal main town.
Unfortunaley and after the pandemic Lisbon is very crowded and you have lots of queues to reach some spots and you have to be very patient…. If you want to skip the line to get the 28 tramline you have to get to Chiado (outside the metro station) and wait there and made all the way to Prazeres stop and then, made all the way back to Martim Moniz..
Thank you for the video. Cheers.

  10. You did quite well, but of course there is way more to discover…After 3 trips to Lisbon and a year living there we are still discovering all of the hidden gems!! Love Lisbon, my city!! You two must be feeling famous…Exciting to see your poster!!! Fun vlog!

  11. Bom dia team frugal of 4!
Another lovely video, you guys were probably wrecked after such a long day walking around Lisbon.
For 3€ you can climb up the arch at the Praça do Comércio.

Looks like you have more than your 15mins of fame! (the poster) you'll soon have to sign autographs 😉

Wishing you a lovely week, catch you later 🤘

  12. Wow, inspiring. What an excellent marathon of a day! You're all such good travellers.

I think you should've posed in front of your magazine cover and let passersby discover that YOU're the smiling couple in the mag cover 😄!
