Let’s Talk Travel Eat our way through Lisbon Portugal!

Today I’m excited to bring you my first video where we talk a little, we travel a little, and we eat a little. We’ll continue to do this every week here in Lisbon. In this video we travel to the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda.

We also eat at the most wonderful creperia, Bécot, located in the Picoas neighborhood of Lisbon. Owned and operated by a Frenchman from the Bretagne region of France, this authentic creperia features inventive sweet and savory crepes, along with French-inspired pancakes. The food is unbelievably good, and the attentive service team will make you feel like family.

  1. Thank you so much for all the videos. We are moving to Lisbon in the end of December. Have you done a video on the Setúbal area? That might be interesting and not to far for you to explore.

  2. Hi Kristen, Thank you both for all the wonderful videos. They keep us inspired to get out of the apartment and explore. We usually try to retrace your steps. We are right off the Arroios metro stop. Kind Regards, Trevor & Shannon

  3. You have to visit the Royal Treasure in the Ajuda Palace. It is awesome. I love some of your shootings, it is very nice like the one when you are filming under the arcades. Very interesting indeed.

  4. Another great video! Yes I would love to see more great restaurants and the food you and hubby eat. I would love to hear more on you decision to retire early and the processs behind it, please.
I really enjoyed this video, keep them coming!🎉💥✨️

  5. Thanks for another great video, Kirsten. The Palace was lovely and the food looked AMAZING! I love to eat, so that was my favorite part 😀. I thought I'd throw out a suggestion for the "eat" portion of a future video : I've heard that there are some really great Nepali restaurants in Lisbon. I'm originally from Nepal, and Nepali food is my favorite…really delicious. I'm not sure if you've ever had it, but I would highly recommend giving it a try. Momos (dumplings) are at the top of my list.

  6. Cool! Seems a bit like a reset, with less “plagueyness”. I saw the mask, but in Asia and parts of California, we already had that. I can’t wait to see more tips and inspiration! 🍻

  7. Hi Kristen.. Now that you have made many videos, I would suggest you to invest on a wireless microphone. (A good one for isn't cheap though)

Some parts of the video we can hear you loud and clear, others we can't.

You might have to enhance the volume using audacity (free software) to keep the volume balanced. (Just a thought)
    .
Wishing you guys a nice weekend 😎
