It's seems that moving to Portugal means the camper that got you there dies there., I have heard of a few people now who moved to Portugal with their campers and ended up having cost/issues with registering. I think for some it would be worth adding that to the cost of moving, plus what was your life before ie moving freely with the van "could" be gone short/long term (with commitment to the land plus no camper) .
