  1. Need to consider homegrown/ UK players quota too. I think that's why we had to bring Ben Davies in.
It's not a simple equation. Lot's of moving parts. I thought we should've gotten rid of Keita & Ox over a year ago. Neither has ever been LFC standard for any kind of sustained time-period imho.

  2. Great chat lads, genuinely surprised Ox is still at the club, he was fit for the last few months of the league last season and Klopp was leaving him at home, I was certain he’d be gone this summer, even with good wages I’m sure their would of been a buying club before he got his injury, feel our midfield options another season on just wont be able to challenge for the title, remember a lot of journalists saying this summer was going to be a lot of rebuilding, just shows they don’t have a clue and only know what the club wants them to know

  3. If they've been stung by Ox, then they've been truly smacked by Keita…..lol and his injury issues…. Basically LFC have messed my with part of squad management they should have planned the exit of OX and Keita long before now, get them fit and tell them politely that the team is going another direction., yes LFC would take a financial hit.. but that's sadly the nature of football 'business' you may have to take losses..that's the nature of the beast….
Lfc in danger of strategic drift in midfield..ie trying to make tweaks to midfield and play the same way when the environment dictates a more proactive strategy…… As it is they have left things far too late… And seems were back to "something will be done next summer…" again…. and maybe we lose PL again by 1point…. Jones needs to go on loan.
It's s bit of a mess, hope they get back in the groove asap… Or we will have to write this season off…
By the way when is Salah gonna take the games by the scruff of the neck…..
Agree with Shaun never had any idea what Naby brings sadly to me just not suited to PL… Keep up the good work…
Feed up of this we need the right player and no player is good enough for our daughter LFC.. citeh just get on and buy the type of players they need.. we don't need super stars as we always say klopp looks to develop players so they don't have to be the finished article…..smh..

  4. Is there any chance after the Werner move back to RB Leipzig that LFC could use it as an example and send Keita back as well? A happy reunion plus also seeing Mane would be a bonus!

  5. Have to agree 100% with Seany. I have said this since Keita walked through the door on day 1. He is a total waste of space. I have been criticised but I am adamant that he is simply not good enough for this team. One of the mysteries of the universe what fans see in him. I actually find him a cowardly player who shuns responsibility and happy to play short safe passes. Don't get me started on his shooting ability! A massive disappointment. As for Ox, just cut your losses and buy out his contract. Both players must go or this season is over with top 4 at best.

  6. For me its incompetence on Liverpool's behalf going into this season with Naby and Ox. Ox should have been sold last year and Keita this year. They have contributed little over the last three seasons through injury, inconsistency or even when fit aren't played as with Ox for the last four months of the season. The fact that their contracts weren't extended tells us how they are valued.

  7. I just wanted to point out to Seany that teams were offering 10 mil for Ox from the end of last season‼️‼️‼️ its not much but its better then for free, It was him that said no to the moves

  8. Not starting Darwin for any reason revolving around the opposition winding him up has the genuine potential to ruin a player before they ever get going. This isn’t Nunez’s first go in football. That was his first straight red in his career. I agree with Keith it’s a soft red and even he was shocked at the decision. I have no concerns with him doing that again honestly. I also don’t care about teams trying to wind him up. Go ahead I’d rather they focus on stupid shit like that during a game than actual defending.

  9. I’d honestly take Naby over any midfielder we could potentially find late in the window and bring in.

The midfield has really been highlighted as a problem point as of late but a couple lads in midfield aren’t the reason this team looks off right now. Nothing is clicking for us. Defense looks too distorted and none of them are actually interested in defending. Fabinho looks absolutely knackered and can’t do the one thing we need him to do. Jota injury is killing our options. Fullbacks creativity is a real head scratcher for me. We rarely use Robbo like we used to, all of fullback creativity looks to be centered around Trent and teams are just cutting that supply line out. We’re using Salah like an outright winger instead of his normal role where he drifts centrally. Diaz we have playing like wide on the touch line near midfield and he’s otherwise super isolated usually. It’s just all strange right now. Not sure what we’re trying to do every game. Also 8th straight game in all comps we’ve conceded the first goal, that’s something we need to address quickly…

  10. I was gutted when i heard Klopp signed an extension the guy is just being exposed now for the bang average manger he is tactically and he never has and will improve any player and to call this charlatan a Genius is mindboggling no genuine Genius keeps playing 4-3-3 and a highline when it has been getting exposed for the past two seasons and no Genius would be bottling the EPL and UCL twice with his poor tactical set up and poor line up and poor subs. To blame the grass and wind and all the other shameless excuses he comes out with after every draw and loss shows he ain't no Genius manager by any stretch of the imagination and now he is trying to push his side kick Lignders as his replacement who is a absolute fraud of a coach. Look at how our players play, hoof ball and spamming crosses lacking intelligent movement to break down low block set ups missing sitters for fun and giving the ball away for fun also, his coaching is all "smoke and mirrors" got everyone fooled, just like Klopp has everyone fooled he is a "Genius manager" TIIME FOR BOTH TO LEAVE..

  11. We absolutely need a new midfielder because the ones we have have a horrible injury record. I'd back the idea of not needing one if we could rely on Ox, Keita, Thiago but these guys are just always injured. I love Milner but the guy shouldn't be so heavily relied upon already in a season. We have a great chance of winning big trophies so why wait for another season or two.

  12. If Klopp has a flaw it's he's too loyal to certain players. Maybe it's because of other reasons like lack of funds, dressing-room stability and homegrown rules. But it took him ages to sort out the GK issue. He messed around with Mignolet and Karius for far too long. He also kept Moreno and Sturridge around until 2019 even though they barely contributed the last 3 years of their stay. And the same thing with Ox and Keita. If a player hasn't made a sustained positive impression for 2 years and circa 100 games then their place in the squad should be seriously questioned. Ox and Naby have been here 5 and 4 years respectively. It's never going to happen for them. They should've been sold and replaced at least a year ago.
