  1. Hi Mark..been watching your videos for a couple of years…thanks for sharing. Not too long ago I noticed an interesting "bloke" originally from the UK who is married to a filipina..they live in Ormoc City. He has a vlog called "Pamilyang Ormocanon". His wife has a vlog too….His name is Adam..I suggested that he be on your vlog but he said he didn't think he was interesting enough to be on your vlog…if you watch one of his vlogs I think you would disagree. I know you are always looking for men for your vlog.
I think he would be a great addition to your channel…if you are comfortable send him a quick invite to join your vlog. On another note I want to thanks you particularly on sharing Gordon's story..I think that was his name..he was the pilot who passed away recently…what a great guy…and he was so happy in his last years…I hope his family in the US were able to see your vlogs with him…..take care, Mike

  2. I enjoy you and your wife's videos. I recall saying something about used car salesman. Now they do it online. Carvana even delivers the car to your house and buy it and pick it up.

  3. I flew upon Aeroflot in 2000, the entire rear half of the aircraft was a smoker section. Naturally, I was designed to the rearmost row of the front half, smokers immediately behind me.

  4. We have an incredible range of restaurants in Baguio I even got fish and chips from the London style fish and chips restaurant and they were were pretty damn good luckily we have the French bakers too in SM yummy

  5. I am sure Justin would love to have lost 40 or 50 pounds already but he forgot to weigh last Sunday so it’s still 31 but in reality probably 35 at least now so he has already lost a third of his goal which is amazing 😊

  6. there are proper bookstores and libraries aplenty in the philippines plus not bad food options in the major centers .. i'm a city boy so i benefit from that .. i suffer the cons of city life but the pros are worth it to me personally .. Mark you have the beautiful beach .. clean air

  7. china airlines is a lot cheaper if you're going one way (650USD): los Angeles to manilla.
congrats, you guys are creating something special that will be famous (or infamous!) in the future with your foreigner "enclave", a Dumaguete "Harlem renaissance" of sorts ; ) cheers

  8. The brick and mortar book stores are disappearing. And those that are left are mainly children's books and junk. Even the magazine racks are smaller. Kind of like the news papers are a joke now.

  9. Hello Mark,
I been watching your pod casts and I had a question. I see you put your watchers questions on the screen to see as you answer the question, how do you do that is it hard to do?

    Thank you in advance

  10. Mark, Why so little interviews and so many livestreams? We have heard your story for years now? Your interviews are interesting but livestreams are your source of supersticker income? Your interviews are good as it is not about you and your views of the Philippines.

  11. On all these livestreams it's not uncommon to see Jen pottering around in the distant background. I assume that's the kitchen/dining area back there. She always seems busy. Far better than being slumped on the sofa thumbing through a mobile phone like most. You're a lucky man!

  12. I’d disagree with the cinema, or maybe we just have different experiences. Been going to cinemas here for years. Sometimes someone will open a phone, but I don’t remember anyone talking on their phone while people are watching. Someone will tell them off

  13. Hi Mark about your bakery comment. I have lived all over Philippines for about 17 years (mostly subic bay and iloilo) and I've always thought the bakeries were world class until I moved to negros oriental. Very disappointed in the bakeries here.

  14. You can go to the barangay Captain for your complaint especially those. Loud karaoke ,rooster, roaming dogs, n if the barangay Captain will not do it, goto the DILG, DILG knows what to do to the abusadohng barangay Captain , we always do it here in Manila barangay Captain always do their job effectively

  15. Hello Mark !
? ? Do you know if there are tour guides or people that I could hire to drive us around. We would like to come to Dumaguete and find a place to rent so we can stay for awhile.
I think the Philippines is a beautiful place , And we would really like to visit and maybe retire there soon !!
