It’s time again to get back out and share a little bit of what expat life in Portugal, specifically in Braga, can look like. I’m finally starting to feel like I’m settling into a rhythm here living in Portugal. In this episode I’ll bring you guys along with me for an outing here in Braga, going to one of the malls here called Braga Parque Shopping Center, then around the center of Braga and off to grab lunch at a Portuguese grill house. I wanted to share some of these scenes of what you can find in Braga to try and help paint the picture of what things here are like. Often people only think about picturesque Portugal with the smaller older buildings.. however, there are also plenty of modern options for shopping and conveniences available here in not only this city but around the country as well. Something I like about life in Braga, Portugal is that you have a balance between the old Portugal and the new allowing you to live a balanced life in a fun little city that has a lot to offer. In this episode of Not Your Average Globetrotter, I wanted to share a pretty normal day here living in Portugal.

Great video Rafael. I love to see you out and about enjoying the delights of Braga it looks very good. Thank you
Great video ..Braga looks like a nice place to visit. I once went in Miami to a Restaurant called Old Lisbon a Portuguese Restaurant that had a 100 plus ways to make bacalao cod salt fish.. the food was wonderful. Very tasty the Portuguese cuisine. but not as famous as other cuisines.
Love that hat you're wearing. Where did you get that?
Appetizers in Portugal might be extra if you want and in US the chips or break are free which costs pennies but the 15% tip which in a meal of 4 people can go easily up to $15 extra because in the US corporates making billions in profits can't pay their servers because they depend on customers to pay their Salaries … Now that is sad and unfair for customers.
i wouldnt be able to do it. Too sleepy
That platter looked so wholesome and yummy… loved the video. Thanks!
This is a FANTASTIC video. Any walk thru town, slice-of-life and discussion on food will get a big thumbs up from me. 👍🏻 👍🏻 We hope to re-visit Braga this May and will definitely make the effort to try the restaurant you recommend. Can’t wait to revisit. Love your work and comparisons with Italy. I can relate! Grazie and Obrigado!
Thanks for showing the city. Love it.
The size of that steak!
Oh I love Pasteis de Belem. I went there a few times while in Lisbon. Love the church bells. Braga has so much. It’s very nice. I will check it out in the fall. I’ll be in Italy in May look at some areas to live. Will see. Braga is in the running. Will see….
I am sure you don't miss Rovigo.
