I decided to stay in Lisbon’s oldest area, Alfama. Alfama has an abundance of steep streets, shops with traditional crafts, restaurants, and cafes serving traditional Portuguese cuisine and bakery..

Life in the beautiful metropolitan happens much slower than in many other places I’ve visited. 😍

There’s this slow place which I needed so bad as I was exhausted from making money online.

Cost of living and rent prices in Lisbon, Portugal for digital nomads

You can get a private room from $300+ per month so you could get by on less than $1,000 monthly! 😃

If you have a larger budget or desire more space for yourself then you can get an entire place for $1,000 per month.

Breakfast in Lisbon goes for roughly 3-5 euros, lunch for 10-12 euros, and dinner 20 euros.

Lisbon is an inspiring city, rich in beautiful architecture and unique culture that many digital nomads appreciate.

If you want to live in a greener area but still be close to Lisbon, then Amadora, Almada and Montijo are great options for you.
