Tradicionalmente, a árvore de Natal da capital é a atração principal destas festividades no Terreiro do Paço. Ao mesmo tempo em que acendeu, todas as luzes da cidade também foram acesas.

Este ano, devido à crise energética, as luzes de natal estão com horário reduzido.

A Câmara Municipal de Lisboa quer garantir uma poupança de 50% no consumo de energia.
