Welcome to my travel guide of Madeira in 4K. This video is about travelling to the island of Madeira, Portugal and exploring everything this island has to offer. I will visit Funchal, Cristiano Ronaldo Museum called CR7 Museum, other towns of Madeira such as Machico, Santana, Calheta to name a few. Exploring all corners of this amazing island, such as visiting the lava pool called Porto Moniz, Lido pools and the beaches in Madeira. I will see the mysterious place called Fanal Pond where everything seems to be always misty. I will do great hikes such as Pico Arieiro to Pico Ruivo and the easy walk of Verada dos Balcoes. Currently to enter Madeira all adults and children over 11 have to complete and submit a traveller questionnaire on
You also have to upload your COVID 19- vaccination status certificate on the Madeira safe website and show proof on entry.
If you aren’t fully vaccinated or haven’t had both doses at least 14 days prior to travel then you have to upload to Madeira safe. Evidence of a negative RT-PCR test taken 72 hours before entry to Madeira. You will also need to show the proof on entry.
Also, If you have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 180 days you will be exempt from showing a RT-PCR test on entry to Madeira.

To return to the UK from Madeira you currently need to take a COVID-19 test. Take a day 2 test which needs to booked and paid for in advance. You will also need to fill out a passenger locator form.

If you need a test to go back to your home country you can request a test on the Madeira safe website once your COVID-19 vaccination status or negative RT-PCR documents have been validated. You will receive and email to say that has been done. Madeira safe will contact you via email with regards to time and location of COVID-19 test.
