That is a nice place but that refrigerator is a dealbreaker for me, even for just two people. Everything else there is really nice especially the bedroom and bathroom.

Hi, subscriber from Norway here!. Been following you guys ever since your start Very informative and a great channel. On our last Madeira trip we went to see an apartment (for buying). When we arrived we recognized the view. It had to be one of your neighboring apartments, but we were put of as it was on top of an auto repair shop.
We are returning in a couple of days to look at a fifth floor T2 next to Mercado de Lavradores. The square meter price is high, but location is grand isn`t it? Would you consider living in the old town? We are buying first as an investment and maybe AirBnB, and would like a place more remote when we take the leap as you both have… What do you think?

Seems like a good price for a large, modern T1 with Internet included and walking distance to downtown. Can't ask for much more if Funchal is your area of choice. It would be interesting to see a comparable T2 apartment in Funchal.
