My father stowed away in a ship from Cape Verde to Portugal in 1995 and sought asylum there.I can really say Portugal was life-changing,whiles there he brought my mom and I and today I have Portuguese nationality,he built houses in Ghana,sent his parents to Hajj,took care of many of his siblings education wise,rebuilt the family house all from the money he earned whiles in Portugal.
