  1. So I’m just confirming, I am fully vaccinated so we don’t need a negative test to get into Greece but have to have a negative one to get back into the US?

  2. Hi, I have a somewhat complicated question.
I am traveling to Athens tomorrow from the United States. My second vaccine dose was more than 9 months ago. My flight is at 11pm, and I am getting a rapid test at 10am. My fear is the 24 hour window, from the moment we take off, until we land. Do you know if the time change affects the 24 hours? Thanks in advance for your response.

  3. Wondering if you’ve heard about any time frame on the booster? I’m getting my booster this week, but it will be under two weeks between getting the booster and arriving in Greece. Any thoughts on that?

  4. Hello! Coming from the US and traveling to Athens, Mykonos and Santorini in mid April. Just confirming that if you are fully Vaccinated and boosted, you do not need to have a negative Covid test to get into Greece? Appreciate your help and information!

  5. I am looking for clarity regarding if the US. CDC vaccine card is accepted in Greece. do we need the EU digital card instead? How can we turn our US cards into EU?

  6. I have a friend who recently visited Santorini (with an expired vaccine after having it over 9 months). She and her husband did not get the booster and she told me they never checked her vaccine card at any restaurant or hotel. All they had to do was get the PCR test and they were never asked about their vaccine card (only at 1 restaurant). She also said that no one wore masks at all in Santorini! Basically she is saying we don’t have to get the booster to go/ eat at restaurants there (as we also have the “expired” over 9 months vaccines). Not sure if I want to take this risk and not be able to get into restaurants if it is not true, but at the same time I did have a horrible reaction (102 fever) to the vaccine and would prefer not to get the booster if I don’t genuinely have to. What do you think? Have you heard of restaurants not checking for booster/vax card? Thank you!

  7. Thank you for your informative video! I’ll be going in April for my honeymoon to Athens and Santorini and have been feeling anxious about the rising covid cases and now the war. Our cancellation date for flights/ hotels is coming up soon so we have to make a decision.

  8. We are traveling to Greece in a couple of days. Fully vaccinated. Returning from Athens connecting in London back to USA on a Monday. The US requires a Negative COVID test taken maximum 1 day before departure. My question is, can you recommend where we can take a test on a Sunday? I was told almost everything except restaurants close on the weekend?

  9. Hello, thank you for the great info! My question is regarding ferry travel between the Cyclades. What are the rules in regard to vaccine and mask requirement? Also, how easy is it to get rapid tests on the other islands like Milos, Paros, and antiparos?

  10. Hi, thanks for you video, I will be in Greece with my partner on holy week, about three weeks from now, I have a question on restaurants they are going to ask us for a Cerfiticated? We are from a country that not uses EU Certificated so I Wonder about that, Thanks in advance

  11. Thank you for all the info. It was welcome news. It has been a really tough 2yrs- and as you said, now we have to think about war. Even with all this, I am looking forward to finally making it out there this summer. I am keeping my fingers crossed that COVID follows the same trend like last year and that by summer the war had ended….. until then, let’s keep Ukraine and everyone in our prayers. Wishing you safe days and good health.

  12. Thanks for the updates. Are you able to talk about Public Transit in Athens. How reliable is it, how does it work, what are the best options for someone visiting for a week. Thanks again!

  13. Thankyou for the informative update. May I ask if you can please do a video ( or a series of videos perhaps) discussing in more detail, the current price increases in Greece. For those of us looking at moving to Greece on a permanent basis. So we can get a better picture of what to expect and prepare for.
    Eg supermarkets/food/clothing/white goods/transportation/housing sakes & rentals/ vehicle purchasing /dining out.etc. Thanking you in advance.

  14. Thank you for a great, very informative video. I recently discovered your channel and I absolutely love your content! I'll be travelling back to Greece this August for my honeymoon (Athens, Hydra, and Aegina) – can't wait!
