This military family have built an incredible tiny house to call home! One of the challenges of being in the military is the probability of being relocated. Needing to pack up all of your belongings and find a new home in a new city can be a challenge, but what if you could just take your home with you?
That’s exactly what Russel and Sarah decided to do, when they repurposed their deposit for a conventional home and instead chose a mortgage and debt free life for their family in a tiny house on wheels.
This home has been cleverly designed to give each family member their own space while functioning as a comfortable and welcoming family home. Now parked up on a property right across from the air force base, Russel only has to jump over the fence to get to work.

Hello everyone! I was wondering if someone could explain to me the legality of having a 3m wide tiny house? Specifically in Europe? I've heard that they need to be towed by a tractor…? Any other restrictions or advice would be very welcome! Thanks 🙂

You still have to have land, water, a place to to dispose of waste A place for you to put your home for a long time It is good if someone will let you live on their land or you can go live with one of your relatives but you have to have land so it's not free Not really Unless you just drive around all the time
Wait. How are they going to transport it overseas? What kind of insurance covers it if it's damaged beyond repair?

Canada needs to get on board with tiny homes. It's impossible to do this on private land as a main dwelling in most places in Canada. So frustrating.
